Hosting, the padlock, unlimited edits, nightly backups, and uptime checks every five minutes. No contract, no setup fee, no cancellation fee.

The files are yours. I hand them over the same day and you host it wherever you like. Nothing owed after that.

The catch, before you ask me for it.

On the monthly plan the site lives on my hosting. If you stop paying, it comes down. That is why there is no contract. Your domain is separate and in your name from day one, so you keep that either way.

Two typefaces, one scale. It has to stay readable on a five inch phone held in one hand in a truck. That is where most of your visitors are.

That is your number, not a promise from me. I have no way of knowing how many customers your website will bring you, and neither does anybody else who tells you they do.

The agreement, in plain words
  1. I build your website and I keep it updated. You pay $100 a month, or $1,000 once if you would rather own it outright.
  2. On the monthly plan the site lives on my hosting. You are subscribing to a working website, the same way you subscribe to Squarespace. You are not buying one.
  3. You always get the full month you have paid for. If you cancel halfway through June, your site stays up until the end of June. I never take back a month you have already paid.
  4. If a payment fails I email you and wait at least seven days before anything happens. Nothing ever goes offline without a warning first.
  5. After that, if the subscription has ended, the site comes offline. There is no contract and no cancellation fee, because the hosting is the only thing holding it up.
  6. Your domain name is yours. You buy it, it stays in your name, and I never hold it. If the site ever comes down your domain is untouched and you can point it anywhere.
  7. Nothing is due until you have seen the finished site and told me it is right.
Straight answers
Why an application and not a buy button?

Because I build every one of these myself, by hand, and I am one person. I take a limited number so the sites stay good. So I read every application and I answer every one.

What happens after I apply?

You get an email from me the same day. If it looks like a fit, we get ten minutes on a video call. No download, no app, it opens in your browser. Then I build.

What does it cost to apply?

Nothing, and there is no obligation at the end of it. I build the site first. You see the finished thing on a real address before a single dollar moves.

What if I say no at the end?

Then you say no. You do not pay, I take it down, and we are done. That is the entire risk you are taking.

Have you done this for other people?

Not yet. I am starting out, so the three builds above are demonstrations rather than clients. That is exactly why I build yours first and let you look at it before you pay me anything.
